Jindera’s Rural Care Link

We’re a not-for-profit organisation, that depends on the contribution of its volunteers to achieve its goals.

Rural Care Link Inc. provides a safety net of kindness, consideration and support to those in need within our community.

Volunteers donate their time and effort to:

  • run the day-to-day business of the Op Shop;
  • collate, publish and distribute the monthly Jindera community newsletter;
  • Provide access to local and national resources;
  • Run a carers support program for locals in need;
  • Provide access to food vouchers and clothing for those needing genuine assistance.
  • Provide support to local schools under our Local Schools Grants Program;
  • other impromptu roles as needed when running community events like the annual Jindera Community Garage Sale.

We are a small operation with limited volunteering opportunities, however, we are constantly in need of Volunteers for our Jindera Op Shop.

Please read our Volunteer Orientation Pack.

School Grants

Helping Local Schools and Students

Rural Care Link will be working with local schools who identify students who are disadvantaged. We will then offer funds to be used to help these students with one or more of the child’s needs during school hours, and/or educational opportunities offered by the school, but not paid for by the school.
